Sales Assistant I – Entry-Level Opportunity

This entry-level role is designed to provide foundational experience, working closely with seasoned professionals to build expertise and contribute meaningfully to the sales team.

As a Sales Assistant I, you’ll manage a specific customer territory, create and execute sales opportunities, deliver accurate and timely quotes, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction while upholding company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate quotes and manage orders, ensuring prompt processing and follow-through.
  • Resolve vendor-related issues, such as pricing discrepancies, shipping delays, and product availability, to maintain seamless operations.
  • Professionally represent the organization during interactions with customers and business partners, both virtually and in-person.
  • Support business activities by attending company events or visiting customer sites as needed.
  • Organize daily tasks and prioritize responsibilities to align with account and portfolio goals.
  • Leverage vendor pricing tools and contract systems to maximize efficiency.
  • Serve as a critical liaison between sales, administrative, and support teams to resolve issues, submit orders, and register deals.
  • Gain and apply knowledge of the company’s hardware, software, and support offerings.
  • Use relevant computer systems and embrace new technologies to streamline workflows.
  • Assist the sales team with research, scheduling calls, and resolving customer concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to adapt to the evolving needs of the business.

  • Basic math skills to ensure accuracy in quotes and order processing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with internal teams and external partners.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to handle vendor concerns and provide executive-level support.
  • Adaptability to shifting responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a customer support role preferred
