Senior Bookkeeper
Location: Alpharetta, Georgia (Hybrid Remote - One Day Per Week in Office)

We operate multiple companies and are looking for a talented Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role offers high upside growth potential, very little overtime, and healthcare insurance reimbursement.
Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage the financial transactions of our multi-company operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support our business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple companies.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Support the entrepreneurial partner group with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction services industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience in owner financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
