We operate multiple companies and are looking for a talented Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role offers high upside growth potential, very little overtime, and healthcare insurance reimbursement.

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage the financial transactions of our multi-company operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple companies.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
  • Support the entrepreneurial partner group with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction services industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in owner financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
